Aureum Academic Journal (AAJ) recognizes the importance of preserving published scholarly content and maintaining long-term access to the academic record.

The publisher maintains regular backups of the journal's Open Journal Systems database, article files, metadata, and associated publishing resources to support recovery in the event of technical failure or data loss.

AAJ is committed to developing appropriate long-term digital-preservation arrangements for published content.

Only preservation services in which AAJ's participation or deposit status can be independently verified will be identified publicly as active preservation partners.

Published articles are assigned persistent Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs), where available, to support durable identification and linking.

Information concerning verified preservation services will be updated when participation is confirmed.

CLOCKSS: AAJ supports the principles of the CLOCKSS digital preservation initiative, subject to confirmed membership and successful deposit arrangements.

LOCKSS: AAJ supports LOCKSS-compatible distributed archiving mechanisms designed to preserve scholarly content through independently maintained digital copies.

PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN): AAJ's proposed Open Journal Systems platform supports integration with PKP PN, subject to activation, eligibility, and successful content deposit.
