Aureum Academic Journal (AAJ) is committed to preserving the accuracy, transparency, reliability, and integrity of the scholarly record.

1. Corrections

Corrections may be issued when errors in a published article require clarification or amendment but do not invalidate the central research findings.

The journal will publish an appropriate correction notice linked to the affected article.

2. Retractions

Retraction may be necessary when reliable evidence establishes that an article contains invalid findings, serious methodological errors, plagiarism, fabricated or falsified data, unethical research, redundant publication, or other serious research-integrity violations.

The retraction notice must clearly identify the affected publication and explain the grounds for the action.

3. Expressions of Concern

An Expression of Concern may be issued when significant doubts about a publication's integrity or reliability remain unresolved.

4. Editorial Assessment

The Editor-in-Chief, with appropriate consultation and investigation, is responsible for determining the necessary post-publication action.

5. Preservation of the Scholarly Record

Published notices should remain accessible and electronically linked to the original article. Relevant publication metadata should be updated where supported.

AAJ follows applicable recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in handling these matters.
